Golconda Fort
The fort is located on the western part of the city and was a stronghold of the Qutub Shahi kings and Nizams. Situated at a distance of 9 Km from the Hussain Sagar Lake, it was originally built as a mud fort by the Raja of Warangal in the 12th century.
