A Journey to Goa to Enjoy Vacation with Family

Goa is known for its beautiful beaches which attracts people from all over the country and abroad. We decided to vacation in this beautiful place to enjoy a much needed holiday. Tickets were booked to the location on Jet Airways, which offer frequent flights to it from Mumbai. Ticket booking was done through the carrier’s online booking system.

Jet Airways is a leading carrier offering flights and stands in second position under the list of domestic carriers in the country. Currently, it operates flight to 48 domestic destinations, enabling people from the farthest corners of the country to reach cities they require easily by flight journey.
As of today, it runs more than 300 flights daily and offers services to a few select international destinations. The airline has codeshare agreement with many international carriers through which it offers passengers greater connectivity.
The airline has a fleet made up of Airbus and Boeing carriers. Passengers are provided with in-flight entertainment during medium haul journeys and the airline’s frequent flyer program Jet Privilege offers greater perks and benefits for its members.

Our journey on the carrier lasted one hour and ten minutes, during which time we were provided meals and some light refreshments. The flight landed in Goa domestic airport from where, we took a cab to the hotel booked for stay. Our flight tickets on this airline were cheaper than other domestic carriers.
I Stayed In a Lovely Three Star Hotel
Our place of stay was none other than the beautiful Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho. It is a three star hotel, located in Fontainhas, Panjim and has eight rooms which are spread across two floors. The most amazing part of this accommodation is its Portuguese style architecture with interiors that have wooden accents and beautiful rooms decorated elaborately in Goan style and lovely garden surrounding.
This is a boutique hotel and one that is a 150 year old property, which enables guests to enjoy a traditional yet modern ambience. Our tastefully decorated room had everything ranging from plush bedding to attached baths and much more.
As the hotel did not have any restaurant, we enjoyed all meals of the day outside. Other guest facilities are travel desk and room service.

We Enjoyed a Fantastic Time Sightseeing Goa
We had heard so much about the beaches of Goa and hence decided to stop over at them. We booked a cab to take u to the Calangute and Baga Beach, both of which were spectacular in their beauty.
Filled with the young crowd, we could see people playing volley, indulging in surfing, swimming, paragliding etc. the lovely small shop sold some fantastic junk jewelry and I bought quite some items here. We also enjoyed delicious sea food in the small eateries beside the beach.
We also visited some of Goa key tourist attractions such as Fort Aguda, Pandava Caves and Arvalem Waterfall and Basilica of Born Jesus: Aafter sightseeing, we returned back to the hotel to pack for our return journey.
